Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

This website is operated by Example Travel Ltd. If you have a question about this policy, or you want us to delete something we hold about you, write to hola@example.com and a person will answer.

Replace the name and the address above with your own before you publish this page.

What we collect when you browse

Nothing that identifies you. We count page views and clicks on booking links per page, without cookies and without storing your IP address, so we can see which pages are worth keeping.

Our server keeps short-lived technical logs to run the site and to stop abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you.

Analytics and advertising, only if you say yes

This site can load Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel. Both belong to third parties, both set cookies in your browser, and both can be used for advertising.

Neither of them loads until you accept them in the banner. If you decline, they are never requested — not the script, not an image, nothing. If you accept and change your mind, open "Cookie choices" at the bottom of any page and decline; we stop loading them from that moment.

What Google and Meta do with the data they collect is governed by their own policies, not by this one.

What we store on your device

Three small values live in your browser and never reach our server: the light or dark theme you picked, the trips you added to your list, and your answer to the cookie banner. Clearing your browser storage removes all three.

Maps and other third parties

Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap. Loading a map means your browser asks their servers for images, so they can see your IP address and which map you looked at. If you never open a page with a map, that request never happens.

Tour photos and descriptions are served from our own copy of the catalogue, so browsing them does not tell anyone else what you are reading.

Booking and payment

We never see your card details. When you book, the link takes you to the operator's own checkout — Viator or the operator who runs the experience — and everything you type there, including payment, happens on their site under their privacy policy.

We do not receive your booking, your name, or your travel dates. If you need a booking changed or refunded, it has to be asked where you paid.

The contact form

What you write in the contact form is sent to the website owner as an email. The owner's mailbox keeps it for as long as they keep their email.

The owner can also turn on a message inbox in their panel. If it is on, a copy of your message — your name, your email, what you wrote, and the optional phone, date and party size if the form asked for them — is kept there for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically. Your IP address is never part of that copy.

Do not send passport numbers, card numbers, or health details through the form. We do not need them, and email is not the place for them.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Write to hola@example.com.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your national data protection authority. Browsing this site leaves nothing that identifies you, so unless you wrote to us through the form, the honest answer to "what do you hold about me" is "nothing" — and we will say so.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we publish the new version on this page. If a change means we start collecting something new about you, the cookie banner asks again instead of assuming your old answer still stands.
